Music is very important to us at the Community Church of Poway, UCC. Martin Luther once wrote, “Next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise.” Under the direction of Minister of Music, Brandon Kertson, we continue to explore the best in worship music, anthems and traditional hymns to meet the needs and tastes of all of our people. We employ piano, guitars, drums, bass, and electric keyboard to enhance our worship experience, using the musical gifts of our people. As with all of our ministry opportunities, our Music Ministry is open to all who have a desire. Michael Pritchard, our chief piano player, brings special music and moving preludes along with accompanying our worship leaders and congregation.
Choir rehearses from 6-7pm every Wednesday evening in the sanctuary.
